The Korean drama Love song for illusion starring Park Ji Hoon and Hong Ye Ji is airing on Viki & Viu. The sixth and seventh episode has aired and here is the recap to let you know what happened.
In episode 6, Ak-Hee becomes furious when Sajo Hyeon regains his senses. Sajo Hyeon and Kyera, disguising themselves as commoners, seek shelter in a villager’s house. In this humble abode, they find solace and share tender moments together, fostering a deeper connection.
However, their respite is short-lived as the next day, Sajo Hyeon makes a difficult decision to let Kyera go. Before parting ways, he implores her to consider rejoining the rebellion group known as the Wind Knives.
Returning to the palace, Sajo Hyeon finds himself amidst a brewing turmoil. A disturbance erupts, and Kyera valiantly saves him from an assailant with the help of the Wind Knives. Grateful for her intervention, Sajo Hyeon finds himself torn between his desire for her to fight alongside him and his apprehension of putting her in harm’s way. Despite Kyera’s insistence, he wrestles with his own demons, haunted by the fear of becoming like his father.
Meanwhile, Sajo Hyung learns of a shocking revelation – his mother possesses the murder weapon used to kill the late king. It is revealed that the king, in a secret endeavor driven by his passion for sewing, runs the clandestine boutique. As Sajo Hyeon sleeps, the shaman’s actions pave the way for Ak-Hee to reclaim control over the king’s body.
In this delicate and tumultuous web of relationships and power struggles, Sajo Hyeon and Kyera find themselves facing a myriad of adversaries. As Sajo Hyeon rejects an offer to share a bed with the queen and flees the palace, Kyera races to find him, realizing her deepening affection for the new king.
