The Korean drama “Marry my husband” starring Na In Woo and Park Min Young has finished airing. It is available to watch on Prime Video. Here is the recap of the 15th and finale 16th episode.
The story picks up from the previous chapter’s cliffhanger, with Ji-Hyuk stepping in to rescue Ji-Won from Park Min-Hwan. In a tense moment, Ji-Hyuk fights Min-Hwan, manages to save Ji-Won, and she’s rushed to the hospital after fainting. Following the altercation, both men end up in jail cells.
Min-Hwan tries to sway Ji-Hyuk to his side without success. Soon, Lee Suk-Joon comes to get Ji-Hyuk out of jail, leaving Min-Hwan behind. Once freed, Ji-Hyuk requests Lee Suk-Joon to sack Min-Hwan and financially corner him, which Lee Suk-Joon does. Ji-Hyuk finds out Ji-Won is now out of the hospital and quickly visits her.
The ordeal has left Ji-Won deeply affected. Ji-Hyuk stays by her side, offering comfort. He later meets with Soo-Min and tricks her into thinking her husband, Min-Hwan, is cheating with Ji-Won. He proposes a deal to get Ji-Won back. Soo-Min buys the story, outraged.
Min-Hwan learns he’s been fired and faces threats over his debts. He discovers a company policy promising a big payout upon a spouse’s death, prompting him to seek Yu-Ra’s assistance.
The tale takes a turn as Yu-Ra pretends to help Min-Hwan, leading to an intimate moment between them. Ji-Hyuk, meanwhile, misleads Soo-Min into thinking Min-Hwan is at a hotel with Ji-Won. However, Soo-Min catches him with Yu-Ra instead, causing a scene.
Soo-Min faints, and Yu-Ra sees a chance to have her and Min-Hwan eliminate each other. The plan backfires as Min-Hwan and Soo-Min engage in a violent confrontation at their home, ending with Min-Hwan fatally injuring himself on a glass table.
The tragedy marks a grim turn for Min-Hwan, shifting the burden of misfortune. Despite Min-Hwan’s demise, Ji-Hyuk and Ji-Won remain uneasy with Soo-Min still at large, now the main suspect in Min-Hwan’s death. The episode concludes with a vengeful Soo-Min appearing at Ji-Hyuk and Ji-Won’s doorstep.
In the final episode, the story wraps up with a police questioning Yu-Ra about her wrongdoings. Despite initially dodging charges through wealth and legal help, her freedom is short-lived. Ji-Hyuk’s grandfather confronts her outside the police station, offering her a chance to amend her ways, which she arrogantly declines. Later, Ji-Hyuk steps in, ensuring she faces the consequences of her actions.
Ji-Hyuk reveals a significant turn of events by bringing Ji-Won’s mother and Su-Min’s father, previously thought to be in danger due to Yu-Ra, as they were secretly saved by Ji-Hyuk. This revelation leads to a police investigation involving Yu-Ra, Ji-Won’s mother, and Su-Min’s father.
The story intensifies when Su-Min attempts to set Ji-Won’s apartment ablaze, with Ji-Won tied up inside. Unbeknownst to Su-Min, Ji-Won anticipates her plan, manages to free herself, and confronts Su-Min. A struggle ensues, during which Su-Min admits her crimes, unknowingly being recorded by Ji-Won. The police, alerted by Ji-Hyuk, arrive to arrest Su-Min.
In a romantic turn, Ji-Won proposes to Ji-Hyuk at their first meeting place, only for him to surprise her with a proposal of his own, complete with flowers and a ring. Their story culminates in a beautiful wedding attended by friends and family, marking the beginning of new romantic stories among their circle.
The drama concludes on a hopeful note with Ji-Won and Ji-Hyuk, now married with children, reflecting on their journey at an art gallery in 2023. This moment symbolizes their gratitude for a second chance at life, highlighting a fresh start for everyone involved.
